Tammie Bailey-Fults is the CEO/Founder & President of the National Association of Women Owned Small Businesses, Inc. [NAWOSB] and serves as the Director of Procurement and Contracts for Melissa L George & Associates. She has a wealth of skills and experience connecting people together like no other. She provides education and support to women owned, veteran, minority and other small business owners seeking to become Suppliers and Vendors to Corporations, Educational Institutes and Government agencies. She has been instrumental in increasing the number of women-owned, small companies registered to do business with corporate entities and government agencies at all levels and becoming certified.

Tammie received her formal education and training from Newcomb College of Tulane University, Mercer University and holds a certification in project management. Among her honors, Tammie was recognized in 2012 by the Non-Profit Trinity Awards for her contributions to small businesses.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Tammie served as Operations Manager of AT&T’s Customer Resolution Management Center where she coached and developed large management teams in various areas of the U.S. Tammie and her team assessed root cause analysis, system support, process improvement and implementation while meeting the network needs of AT&T's elite customers, Walmart, Darden Restaurants and hundreds of others by working closely with AT&T’s vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

A servant leader since the age of five, Tammie has served as a Board Director Advisor for Tomorrow’s Luminaries, Board Member of the National Diversity Council-Atlanta Chapter, Facilitator for In-Girls Program at Coretta Scott King Middle School (CSKYWL), NAWOSB Mentor-Partner to CSKYWL, HOA Board President and 2014 Board Member of Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce.

A native of New Orleans and resident of Georgia for more than 30 years, Tammie is married to her husband Tony of almost 30 years. They become main rivals each year during football season while cheering for their favorite teams, Saints and Falcons. Tammie enjoys watching Shark Tank, traveling, writing, dining out, reading, dancing and of course encouraging, motivating others to Make It Happen!
